Our designated Scout and Guide campsite can accommodate hundreds of Scouts + Guides from all around the world.
We are Ireland’s newest independently run Scout and Guide campsite and have our very own Adventure Centre on the same campus! So, for all you eager scouts and guides out there, come and have great fun and adventure at the IOAC!!
Climb that High Ropes tower, shoot your Scouter in our archery Battlezone, use your knot tying and lashing skills to build the best raft on our lake, and so much more!
For Leaders, our aim is that once you arrive at our gates and see our banners, you too can enjoy your camp! You can book your stay and all your activities long before you arrive at the IOAC!
If the outdoors don’t suit you check out The Adventure Academy our indoor accommodation!
Depending on the wide range of activities, that you choose, we will look after your programme for you!
PLUS, we like to see you adults taking part too!
The exciting activities and facilities that we have to offer are not just for kids!
The multi-award winning 4-Star IOAC campus includes its very own designated
International Scout and Guide camping grounds! This ensures that scouts and guides can complete their adventurous programmes in a safe and inclusive manner.
These camping grounds were developed by Scouts for Scouts and Guides to enjoy. Our reception team will assist your group in organising that perfect camp, taking some of the pressure off organisers!
Whether you have 10 or 300 campers we can accommodate and assist in planning and organising both onsite activities and other adventures in Co Wexford! Still not sure? We can facilitate a campus visit with your organisers and our IOAC Team to visualise and help plan the camp. Reach out and organise an adventure your Scouts & Guides will remember forever!
Modern toilets and showers are located right in the centre of the campsite! With inclusivity in mind, we have accessible showers and toilets in both the male and female blocks.
There are two pot wash sinks located outside the toilet blocks where there is always hot water available! Again, making your stay that little bit easier!
If you can think it, you can build it! We provide pioneering timber onsite that works on a "first-come-first-serve" basis. This is located at the entrance of the campsite and sisal is available from our shop!
Our Long Haul Café and camp shop is always ready for some barista magic or tuck shop treats!!
We have two small spaces available to carry out backwoods and shelter building skills.
We have a wood pile available to scouts and guides exclusively. We ask that all fires are raised off thegrass.
We have our beautiful amphitheatre available for scouts and guides to use for campfires, located by our lake!
Our electrical hook-ups provide a reliable power source for lighting, cooking, and charging essential devices.
