The IOAC is proud to support the local community with the addition of a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on-site!
This essential life-saving device is now part of the network of publicly available community defibrillators registered with emergency services, making it accessible to both our guests and local residents. We believe that enhancing safety and preparedness is crucial for creating a welcoming environment, and the introduction of the AED is a significant step toward achieving that goal.
Conveniently located at Reception, the AED is easily accessible in case of an emergency.
The IOAC eircode is attached in the inside of the AED bag!
In the event of a cardiac incident, call 999 or 112, and the dispatcher will provide the specific location and code needed to access the device.
They are designed with user-friendliness in mind, the AED features clear voice prompts that guide users through every step of the process, ensuring that anyone can use it effectively, even in high-stress situations.
When it comes to emergencies, timely access to life-saving equipment can make all the difference.
The introduction of this AED underscores our commitment to the health and wellbeing of our visitors and the broader community. By investing in resources that promote safety, we aim to create a more secure environment where everyone can enjoy their time at IOAC without worry.
We encourage everyone—both our guests and local residents—to familiarise themselves to the location of the AED and understand its importance.
Together, we can create a safer community where help is always within reach.
Thank you for being a part of the IOAC family, and we look forward to welcoming you to our campsite
