We highly recommend you read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By booking a site/accommodation with us you agree to abide by The IOAC’s Terms and Conditions and Site Rules.
Our Cancellation Policy
The IOAC operates a reasonable Cancellation Policy.
➢ If a booking is cancelled at any time prior to 7 days of your arrival date, we
would be happy to provide you with a full refund.
➢ If it is cancelled after 7 days but before 3 days of your arrival date, we offer a
50% refund.
➢ Any cancellations made within three days of arrival or at any stage on or after
your arrival date, we are unable to offer you a refund.
➢ Any card refunds may take 5-10 working days to reach your account.
➢ All cancellations must be made via email to info@ioac.ie
➢ Any cancellations left via voicemail or over the phone will not be valid.
Booking Confirmation
A deposit payment of 50% of the total cost of your break is required to secure your booking. The balance can be paid either prior to or on arrival by credit card, debit card or cash.
- If the 50% deposit is not paid your booking is not secure.
In regard to invoices, the balance will be due 1 week prior to arrival. If the numbers changes in the interim, the IOAC will not be able to refund the difference. The date of full payment will be displayed on the invoice.
Any changes to the booking must be made via email to info@ioac.ie to be valid.
Rescheduling Policy
Any rescheduling of dates will be facilitated at no cost if notice is given 10 days prior to arrival date.
- If rescheduling of dates is necessary within 10 days of arrival date, a €25
rescheduling fee will apply. The new rescheduled dates must be forwarded by email to info@ioac.ie within 5 days of original request to reschedule.
Any rescheduling requests left via voicemail or made over the phone will not be valid. The cancellation will apply to the original date of the booking.
Conditions of Booking
- We operate a strict quiet time on site from 11pm until 8am. We reserve the right to decline or terminate the booking of any guest(s) whose party make-up or behaviour interferes or may interfere with the general comfort of other guests. In this event no refunds will be made.
- For safety, our activity lake is out of bounds at all times unless accompanied by our activity personnel.
- Children are, at all times, the responsibility of their parents/guardians.
- No fires are permitted on the ground. This applies to BBQs also. Disposable BBQs should not be lit on the ground or on our picnic tables.
- We welcome dogs and their responsible owners here at the IOAC. Dogs must be controlled at all times and cleaned up after.
- If a group booking is made, the balance must be paid on arrival. The payment must be made in full. The IOAC will not be able to facilitate splitting the balance.
Non Arrivals
Notification must be given by email to info@ioac.ie if no notification is given, and the pitch is not occupied by 11 a.m. the day after the booked arrival date, then The IOAC reserves the right to re-let the pitch with payment non-refundable and the booking non-transferrable.
Arrival/Departure
- On arrival, all customers/visitors are to report to reception. Your arrival is
welcome from 2 p.m. for camping/campervan bookings and from 3 p.m. for Glamping. Access to the campsite will not be permitted until payment is
received in full. - Checkout time on the day of departure is by 12 p.m. for Campervans/Caravans and campsite users and by 11 a.m. for Glamping.
- No refunds will be given for departing nights early.
Glamping Accommodation
- You must use your accommodation and its contents with care and leave it in a clean and tidy condition on departure. We reserve the right to charge you for any extra cleaning, missing items or damage.
- We reserve the right to enter your accommodation at any time for any
reasonable purpose, for example, to make checks, maintenance work or
housekeeping. Your occupation is not exclusive.
Activity Bookings
- All activity participants must sign an Acknowledgement of Risk Form and
present it at reception. Anyone who does not have this form completed will not be able to participate in activities. - All activities begin at a set time and run for a set period. Anyone who shows up late or finishes an activity early does so at their own accord and therefore is not entitled to any special allocations.
- We do not offer refund; credit note or change of activity for any change of mind.
- All activity bookings fall under our general cancellation policy.
Changes To Your Holiday by the IOAC
- The IOAC cannot accept responsibility or compensation for circumstances
beyond our control including (but not limited to) natural disasters, industrial disputes, fire, technical problems, bad weather, acts of government, etc. The IOAC will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that it is open for use by visitors during normal opening hours.
General/Liability
- All vehicle’s/caravans etc. are parked at owner’s risk. The management accept no liability for loss or damage while on the park or otherwise.
- Anyone found vandalizing or causing damage to any building, equipment or property of the park faces immediate eviction and/or prosecution. The person who booked will be responsible for all charges for all damage/breakages/loss caused by themselves or their visitors to the site or park facilities or other customers’ property.
- The IOAC reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry on to or remove from its premises or the vicinity any person who:
- Has been convicted of a criminal offence.
- Has behaved in a manner or is likely to affect the safety or enjoyment of other visitors.
- Has used threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace.
• Is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
• Is staying on the park for any other use apart from holiday use.
Force Majeure
The IOAC shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms and conditions due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, war, terrorism, or any other event that renders performance impossible or impractical. In the event of such an occurrence, IOAC reserves the right to suspend, modify, or cancel services without liability or compensation. Customers affected by force majeure events will be contacted as soon as reasonably possible, and any refunds or rescheduling will be addressed at the sole discretion of IOAC.
